A series inspired by the theme of Motherhood, the imagery in these paintings chronicle my recent love of crochet in preparation for my firstborn son. The play of fabric evokes the peace and gentle guidance that I wish he will always be surrounded by. The fabric in this set are symbolic of the words in Holy Scripture : 
 
“He makes me lie down in green pastures, he leads me beside quiet waters, he refreshes my soul. He guides me along right paths for his name’s sake.” -Psalm 23:2-3
