My Sheep Know My Voice
A series inspired by the theme of Motherhood, the imagery in these paintings chronicle my recent love of crochet in preparation for my firstborn son. The play of fabric evokes the faithfulness and promise of eternal life that I wish he will always remember. The fabric in this set are symbolic of the words in Holy Scripture : 
 
“My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me. I give them eternal life, and they will never perish, and no one will snatch them out of the Father’s hand.” -John 10:27-28
