A series inspired by the theme of Motherhood, the imagery in these paintings chronicle my recent love of crochet in preparation for my firstborn son. The interplay of fabric evokes a safe space for learning about the natural world in this painting. The symbols in the fabric depict fantasy and wonder, it is my hope that he will be free to explore all created things this world has to offer.
