A series inspired by the theme of Motherhood, the imagery in these paintings chronicle my recent love of crochet in preparation for my firstborn son. The interplay of fabric evokes warmth and comfort that I wish he will always be surrounded by. The fabric in this set are scarfs left by my mother who passed last year. May he come to know how precious and long-awaited he is to her, and all children who are born in this Year of the Rabbit to their loved ones.
