JULIA JOES

Julia is a self-taught abstract artist driven by a fascination with colors. Her preferred mediums are acrylics and/or alcohol inks through which she explores textures that captivate the senses by incorporating unconventional materials such as coffee powder, sand, and modeling paste into her work. Julia's creative process begins with the careful selection of a color palette, which allows her intuition to guide each stroke toward its unique destination on the canvas. Although she occasionally explores floral themes with alcohol inks, she is most passionate about abstract expressionism. As an expressionist, Julia's work aims to evoke emotions and energy beyond the constraints of realism.
