As a visual artist and illustrator, Clarissa draws her creative inspiration from her personal journey and a perpetual reflection of her growth as a mother and self-taught artist. She is passionate in exploring themes of mental wellness and advocating for art as a form of self-care. Her pieces often feature repetitive marks, random patterns and bold, clashing colours, exuding a sense of freedom and escapism. Clarissa employs a range of mediums, including acrylic, marker pens and digital. Her works have been exhibited in both Singapore and Malaysia to date.
