“To live without hope is to cease to live” as stated by Fyodor Mikhailovich Dostoevsky the famous novelist, summarises the vibrant and captivating artworks created by Babita. As an abstract realism artist based in Singapore, her self-taught journey brought these bold and colourful abstract portraits to life. Her uniquely characterised abstract portraits inherently carry a distinctive strength displaying resilience and fortitude in their attitudes thus promoting a sense of hope for everyone. She hopes to tell a story that invites viewers to recognise the complexities of their emotions, fostering a connection between the artwork and their own inner worlds.
